Saturdays

 Morning class with Colin.

 Afternoon class with Kiki.
We warmed up at the stairwell again but we didn't get the chance to play - Chorus in class.
Hopefully this week we get to play as her teacher has fast forwarded to the 3rd song now and we haven't completely learned song #2 yet. No sweat, just erm.. got to quickly mark out song #3.

I'm making every excuse to go eat something nice.
The queue was short (like,,, six people in front of us), so we queued.
It was a novelty for us, hence she quite enjoyed the experience.

I received a call from her classmate's dad. He explained that Kiki had lost the invitation card and I probably didn't know that there's gonna be a BD party the next day. He would appreciate it if we could attend, especially since they are now K2. I asked him to give me 15 mins to mull over. (because the time coincide with her swimming class)

I sketched this when we got home, while she sketched about her day in her journal and made a card for her friend.

we wanted mushroom truffle soup but it was out-of-stock. i wanted mille crepe (original) but it was also out. green tea mille crepe was also out. so i settled on chocolate crepe and she wanted checkered. they gave us the pastries before our starter and main. hum...... i should have sent them back ya. cos the crepe ended up being very soggy by the time we came to deserts and it was too jerlat for me.

She was very excited that there were chips and asked if she could use her hands to eat the chips.
She asked if I know who invented Potato Chips. I have not considered that before, so I said - no, I do not know. Then she rattled on about how there was once a chef who used to cook French Fries but the customers complained that the fries were too thick and the chef retaliated by slicing the potatoes real thinly, showing his displeasure with the complaint and thinking the customers would not like them (to annoy the customers) but hey, surprise, surprise, they all raved about the thinly sliced, fried potatoes and asked for more. So I thought it was a made-up story until I googled it and that was by and large the history of Who invented Potato Chips (Thank you, teacher)

She bought her friend a present with her the money from her tooth fairy and BD ang bow.

Her Yiyi bought her some pocket activity booklets.

She also bought (erasable) colour magic pens and that was about all that's left with her dough.

Her swim coach let us join a later time slot, so we'll go to the birthday party first.

used up so many stickers for the card... well.
