Happy Birthday

My boss' BD today.

Singa Craze

My aunt is trying to collate a full collection of NDP 2015 Singa Courtesy Lion.
There are 15 or more (?) designs commissioned for NDP. It comes with the Fun Pack that are distributed to each household (one fun pack per house). If you attend the NDP rehearsals, preview, or actual day parade; you will also be given the Fun Pack.

These are what my aunt current has. I'm helping her to source for other designs too.

Other than that, my colleague gave me the plain Singa. I call it the "Blank Space" Singa.
you can colour it on your own.

Birthday Parties: Ninja Theme

She was so excited to be able to lodge the ninja dart onto the styrofoam board many times.
That was a popular play station, all the kids want to play, luckily the host had one more board on standby and replaced it after the first board had big tears.

Navigating the "laser beams". This is an interesting play station too, but not many kids found it fun. They didn't quite understand the logic of having to avoid the bells (on lasers) and darts on the floor.

Art n' crafts station to decorate stuff like the ninja sword and flying darts.

what a novelty, Lego shaped jelly, stackable some more.

The same magician from last year. The kids enjoyed his tricks and entertainment. Adults too.

Birthday boy.

Big, nice rainbow spotted when on the way home.
It's the first time she sees one, and it was a nice feeling.

The host gave each guest a token gift. They made an effort to give each child an age appropriate book. So thoughtful of them.

Just make an impromptu snack for breakfast, better than nothing.
Colin takes coaxing to eat. Kiki tries everything.

Teacher says to upgrade to keyboard class next month, hence this is the last "baby class".

While on the way home, we saw Grandpa. We called out to him but he couldn't hear us. Even when we walk close to him he still can't hear us nor sense us.

So when we found him sitting by himself at the void deck, we stopped to chat. He was conscious of his blinded eye, so he doesn't want to look at me.  His eye was blinded long ago, he refused to take care nor see doctor. When I had my wedding, he put on a pair of black, dark, sunglasses throughout the reception and also the luncheon. Many people did not understand why he had to wear sunglasses while indoors and commented that he was havoc, playboy, old hero, and other unsolicited comments which I won't repeat. They didn't know he was concealing a bad eye that he thinks might frighten people.

I asked him about his SG50 EZ Link card before he would turn his face to me. (below)

Then we greeted the Granny who was doing her exercises at the corridor.

went violin class...
