Sports Active Kids

Every Sunday, we bump into a Zumba instructor outside the swimming complex.
There normally will be a group of women doing Zumba, Kiki and I would look at them keenly, wanting to join in but as usual, we have got a schedule to keep.

So I told her that I will check out Holiday classes for her & Colin.
There are so many classes and programmes for kids!
The only drawback is that most of the CCs are rather far from my place... but I guess for just a few lessons, it isn't a problem.

Kiki selected Kids Zumba and the Wind Surfing courses for the holidays.

Airfrov (App)

Airfrov is a community of travelers who volunteer to help make purchases when they travel.
You can put up a request on what you want, state the price you're willing to part with.
If a traveler picks up your request, he will let you know his travel dates.
If you're agreeable, you make a deposit (the App will hold on to your deposit).
When the item arrives (you can choose to collect or pay extra for it to be delivered), your payment will be made to the traveler who had helped you purchased the item.
Items range from food, snack, to bags, wallets, shoes, toys, make-up, electronics. etc.

Homage to the elderly

Three cheers to a brave, young lady - Gillian, co-founder of "Homage"

Her company was cited as an example in our NDP 2017 Speech, on the topic of our ever-greying population, our ever-hectic working lifestyles, and an App to help families find Care-giving assistance drawn from a pool of Care Professionals. (many of them are professional nurses).

 

After many rounds of qualifying- Medical checks, background checks (with the police as well as past employers), caregiver courses, first-aid courses, plus other relevant declarations; Bren is now ready to be dispatched as a caregiver under the Homage organization. The App enables working adults to hire help for their family members, eg: interim period before your helper arrives, recovery period after surgery, companionship (bring elderly to the park, coffee shop & other social engagements, physio therapy, etc.)

School brought them to the Sailing Club to learn Water Safety.

25-SEP MONDAY NIGHT

There are people who are quite certain what they want from their lives but I am not one of those people. What I want is generic and boring-- kids happy, healthy, do well in school, be caring, be independent, me just happy being a boh-boh, do things that sometimes may be self-sabotaging, saying things that might have hurt others, while not saying things that might have hurt myself. So there you go, I have no answers but I think that's fine.

I ran 1.2km for fries and ice cream.
I was gonna eat anyway. So that short jog made it less sinful.

i've never liked the idea of a public proposal.
what happens if the girl wants time to consider?
to propose in front of your friends, her friends, is a form of pressurizing her.
of course unless the chap is pretty confident or that the girl had expressed her desire to tie the knot.
or else, i honestly do not like that idea. 

as quickly as i had found jogging fascinating, i have lost interest in trying to "get a bronze" (to do 2.4km under 18mins). means that that activity (or goal) may not be sustainable for me. however, i will still take a walk and will always try to break a sweat. that, will be sustainable.
