Your Life in 90 mins

** no spoilers **

The kids didn't want to watch "A Dog's Purpose" because they say it isn't "Cartoon". LOL......... they are still childish ya? They only want Anime cartoons, like the Lego movie which they've requested.

So I watched it on my own.

You know, there's always this subtle gloom in movie settings where residents from a small town has got a small number of people inspiring to leave their homes to forge for "better lives". As in small town's setting, teens graduating from high schools, trying to land on more prestigious colleges while some adults relocate for better job offers or those who "stay put" or got "left behind" do their darndest best to get a higher profiled job to compensate the inferiority complex of admittedly being left behind.

It will not be complicated if one has not much desires or ambitions but it would be very complicated if one has got desires but cast it aside for the sake of their (1) partner, (2) spouse, (3) kids, (4) family/ parents. Especially harder if one thinks that his single (one and only) opportunity was lost or missed. Many in such cases, fall into depression. The long-drawn, depressing kind of depression. It won't kill because it has no suicidal tendencies but it dulled the light from the person's life, like an inflated balloon.

A person's life, say an average of 80 years, could be observed in retrospect in 90 mins., an average running time of a movie. At least this is how I always take some lessons away from the movies I watch.

Not everyone has complexities. But it is a waste of life to live with complexities.

This is 2017. We are not in 1967, nor 1987.
With all that you read, watch, or come across, wouldn't you have learned anything?

To be alive is such great blessing. Find joy in your own context. Find relationships in your own context. Find the life you want to live, in your own context.
