After the BD party, we went for violin class as per usual. This week we showcased "Gavotte" from Mignon (Mignon is an Opera by Ambroise Thomas) The Opera was performed at the Opera-Comique in Paris from 1866 to 1919, one thousand five hundred times. (wow) I should have researched this before we learn the piece, nevertheless, we listen to Mignon (in Soprano) and we were quite excited when it got to the Gavotte part (which we are familiar with). I said we should try playing the violin with the opera at the background, Kiki agreed and we shall experiment with this for our own fun & learning even though we've showcased it in class.  =)

 She says she had a "mouth freeze" not "brain freeze" 

 I had planned to have dinner with my sis etc while she baby-sit Colin while waiting for our class to finish but change of plans, we brought Colin home to nap (he looked like he would nap any minute) and then we had to make our way home on our own after class, and I didn't bring her EZ Link card. Ended up buying an adult stored value card (because it'll be cheaper when transferring from MRT to bus) okay lah Rilakkuma Bear is quite cute hur.

 So I've promised that she could name a small toy after show casing Gavotte (only when Teacher didn't criticize then it's considered 'pass')  and she had wanted Goo, so Goo we got. ($9.95 Smiggle)
