Random Reads


Suspense novels are like Korean melodramas, some of those you watch disc after disc and it goes on for hours before you realise it is 4am. For a book, it will be page after page. The only plus is that I get to refresh or learn a few new words from a book. Other than that, I can't help feeling both phony and corny as I could predict rather accurately on how the plot unravels. Still, it beats a magazine and it is also lighter to be lugged around.

  1. I read a few of her books before. Yeah, there's suspense but somehow the stories are about the same. Like you say, phony and corny.....
