Breakfast

One of the staff always draw us some smiley, butterfly or flower.
If we're running late, we would head to McCafe. This would save us some traffic jam.

Tell you this joke about Chai Tao Kuay (Fried Carrot Cake).
Almost every work day, we eat from the same stall. That chap runs OMO, so the customers would just leave the money on the counter and help themselves to a bucket of coins for change if needed.
For the longest time, Bren had been paying $3 for our plate of Chai Tao Kuay. Until one day (this week!) the stall holder told Bren to take his change (50cents). All along Bren thought the dish cost $3!  Faint arrrrr.
I joked that we have be assigned lifetime membership liao lor like that.-_-"

On a rare occasion like this morning, this fishball noodle stall had six persons in the queue. It normally has twenty people waiting in line, every, single, day. Really. I think today being the Friday nearest to Monday's public holiday, a number of working people took a day off so they could have a block rest of four days or go for a short holiday? Whatever the case, it's my chance to try the noodles. Well, the noodles are nice if you like a bit of a sour taste, perhaps from whatever vinegar sauce base & their unique chilli, plus the irregular fish balls seem hand made.
