With our new product, we now are working on new markets which brings me to very different customers; something that I would not have thought of-- Military, R&D, Academics, Manufacturing, Batteries & Renewable Energy, etc.
Our Principal would only be ready sometime in May/June 2017, meanwhile, we will have to start lobbying for interest and hopefully we would be able to have many breakthroughs.
It is really not easy to try to sell something touted as "wonder material" because it seems out-of-the-world, and most markets are not ready to fork out the money despite wanting to advance their technology. But surely we have to start somewhere right? Further more, we are already at the edge of our current market, the only thing that's left is to leap. Have a big leap of faith into the future.
We visit Prof. L at his office. Besides the stacks of assignments he says he didn't have time to discard, there were two piles of empty water bottles we had mistaken they were for recycling. Basically, Prof. works and lectures non-stop, he doesn't have time for house-keeping. They are expected to publish papers too, so really, their time is stretched.
We discussed about the prospects of our new nano-material and he advised that his R&D colleagues would surely be keen although he thinks the commercial markets may take a while to be ready, the R&D markets are definitely raring to go.
his desk only has space for the keyboard.
we would start lobbying to all the Profs we could come in contact with.
and the various agencies.
