Lei Cha Rendition

Today's lunch hour, I sketched what I had for yesterday's lunch.
That was none other than- Lei Cha Thunder Rice, again.
So today, I thought I might as well make a sketch of some regular stuff in my life.

Hope you like it.

Jubilee Julie

My aunt asked me to colour her blank Singa.
Since her name is Julie, I gave her a "Jubilee Julie".

This is hers.

Mine, on the other hand,,,,,,, looks a tad scary. A little mummified but still my colleague exclaimed that it is "so creative".

More Looms

Today, I made one camouflage loom band..........not sure if anyone would appreciate this.

And also Princess Celestia (from My Little Pony)
It looks very nice against my olive, tan skin, so it stays on to give me some magical cheer.

Frozen Loom Bands

Look, look, look!  Elsa & Anna!  Hahaha.

Cool right?

These first pair are not-for-sale.
Will make another pair for fund raising auction. Hope I've got enough see-through blue, those came in small quantity.

Daisy Inspired Loom

Today during lunch break, I made another Loom. I had been wanting to do one Garden or Botanical theme.

I know I don't have the knack of complicated handicrafts like knitting or weaving but I know I have the knack of conceptualizing. So instead of trying hard to learn more complicated designs, I can tell you, weaving the same, old simple fish-tail band into various concepts is equally fun, if not more fun.

I don't beat myself up for things that I don't have a natural flair in, I would rather immerse in creativity that brings me simple joy.

 Sorting before starting.

Coming up next:  Piglet & Tigger!

Last Friday Night

Looking rather terrible without make-up, I was having flu... feeling very sleepy but I don't like to take rain cheques. I had agreed on a cheong date with my friend and she had waited since last Nov hence I just hung-in-there and forced myself to brighten my face with some make-up and made the effort to curl my hair. No one needs to know how you actually feel (you know). As long as you play your part and look your part, they don't have to know your misery. That's my motto actually. I rested a while at her place while she showered and dolled up, and that was enough recharged energy to last me till 4 am. Wow, I actually enjoyed the sleazy pub. It was really sleazy, but the super loud dance music was good, and it was interesting to watch the performers dance to K-pop tunes and funky dance moves. I even told my friend to scout for K-pop dance class and we will go learn to groove.

I've reunited with an old hair dresser. For now, it's lots of ash brown streaks.

Lunchtime DIY

Autumn colours for my very short nails.

Since my mouse has become insensitive, I cleaned its nails too.

Look at the dirt it haboured.

My sis's current fad is on homeopathic stuff which also acts as cleaning agents.
So, I was inspired to make a scrub for my feet, with Bicarbonate soda and my essence of Joy & Peppermint. Interestingly, the concoction also helped to stop the itch on Kiki's calf when she couldn't stop scratching from the mosquito bite last evening. Just a tiny dot of the cream worked very well.
