Met J for dinner last Friday
31 years of knowing her, she has always been that independent & dramatic (in the romance department).

Last Friday Night

 Met my sis and her colleague Winnie. 

Chit-chat, chit-chat. 

After which, Winnie left to go do some cosmetics shopping while cousin Janice joined for dinner. 

A seemingly uneventful dinner turned out to be a rather huge revelation on her romantic status. It is always good to catch up with your cousins and close friends, be it once a quarter or less. 

We lend each other moral support or brainstorm ideas or 

share funny antics that only we would understand.

 My sis came to fetch me, so I asked her to join us for a while.

The bravest thing you will ever do is to love again.

Bren & I were home late, the kids were already in bed.
So I joined him in the kitchen, he was having our last bottle of... Blue Sapphire Gin, on the rocks, Eew... it was hard to drink but we both sipped one quarter of a bottle that way.

Again, we were having the "Songs Challenge", taking turns to churn out song after another. Ranging from Is this Love? by White Snake to One Direction's - Drag Me Down. Boy, can we still dance at 2 in the morning.

We did this from 11pm to 3am!
Who drinks and churns out YouTubes for four hours straight?
We laughed and we cried.
Cried over friends who had gone too soon.
Laughed over the fads and trends we've lived.
Smiled over the hay of days we've seen.
And nodded that we still had each others' back.
Finally.

We vouched that we will do better, together.

So we let loose when we're alone.  Hurray! It's Friday!

 Quick munch before heading to the concert.

Front row is not most ideal but can't complain. $68 X 2 seats.
Pianist was just six arms' length away, could see him breathe and pray before performance.
Very tensed before he breaks into the keys. Full concentration I suppose. 

Three rows behind us would be the most ex tickets ($188)

She hasn't had sugar cane juice before. Well, at least not that she remembers.

 Karaoke Carpool to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Elton John, One Direction, Justin Bieber, Adele, & Rod Steward.

Followed by regulars like Robin Schulz, Ne-Yo, Pitbull, Calvin Harris, and some Ed Sheeran etc.

While we were getting ready for work & school, Kiki said- Wow, Mommy, your dress is so nice. Looks like pixels from Minecraft.

Float Hope

 So, my float club has moved out from its owner's home, to a shop near Kembangan MRT station. (about 10 mins on foot, 15 mins if you walk in a pace like mine).

 The stacks of bags at the background are the salt for the pod. 

One ton of salt for a pod. That's like 1000 kg and that's what keep you afloat. 

 He needed to soak off the back aches. 

I just wanted to revisit the psychedelic experience I had on my first float but it didn't happen. 

So I take a rest and listen to my heartbeat. Why does my heart beat so.... feebly?

I need to exercise. 

 I suggested to Derrick to stock up these colouring books for sale. 

He says he has ordered them and they're on the way.
