Once in a Super, Blue, Blood, Moon!

3-in-1 night: 28th January 2018

Super moon = closest distance to Earth

Blue moon = full moon occurring twice within the same calendar month
(happens once in 2 year, 8 months or you can say, happens once in a blue moon!)

Blood moon = eclipse with the sun

after our class, on way home

one fellow parent took this through a telescope
beautiful isn't it?

a friend of mine on the plane when he saw the moon

Kaiwai Charity Concert: 19th November 2017

we left our clothes & boots unattended while she went for rehearsal and I, breakfast.

Found a really nice cafe (The Providore) with relaxing lounge music and a backdrop of green, leafy vine plants. I had muesli yogurt & berries.

After an hour odd, I went back to the auditorium to fetch Kiki for her lunch break.
She had a ham sandwich, she was very hungry, she said.
We had to walk across the road to the building opposite because there was no eatery at the Chinese Culture Centre.

Mom, Sis & Colin came to support.

 The ensemble.

Colin commented that this Rainbow has six colours instead of seven.

He's always surprising me with his observations.

Schooling @ Marine Parade

an exclusive photo from SJ who worked on the bus decals, stickers & banners over night. cool!

my aunt lamented, asked why didn't we bring her to the job site so she could take pictures with the bus since she probably won't get the chance to pose with Schooling. LOL. my aunt.

another 'exclusive' photo from Kiki's classmate's mommy.
she was among the crowd at marine terrace this morning at the meet-and-greet parade

七月歌台

our Getai has always been impressive, the Chinese papers reports will come here to take some photographs and do some interviews. also, members of the public will form a crowd too. over the years, we improvised by providing extra chairs for the public, and also arranged for portable toilets for them in case they need to use the loo.

this year's Getai was so "high". many singers are younger, many songs they've performed were also lively & upbeat. the gigantic LED screen enhanced the entertainment level too, the visuals were clear even from afar.

there are NO POKEMONs in my work vicinity, so i was surprised to see one on the table.
i don't go hunting, i might just on my location and do a scan once in a while.

NDP 2016 (Preview 23rd July)

LED bands with lights that synchronizes with the music & themes.

The crowd was supposed to do the Kallang Wave for three rounds (like three cheers) but the wave went on and on and on until we had to stop as the parade had started, everyone was laughing. I guess this was to welcome NPD back at our National Stadium after a decade of absence.
