CNY Day 3: Boss' place

Colin is an affectionate boy, he will hug you by the neck to snuggle. 

It feels so good, this loving boy.

children, when they make new friends, they kind of ignore me. 

i call out to them, they just run away with their friends to play. 

they run away from me like i'm a nag. 

very soon they will be even more independent than current.

 night time, did some random worksheets. telling her about cavemen and their writings.

i made up some stories about the origins of some words, just to help her remember. 

for instance - Postman- 邮差. I said that in the olden days, the postman has to walk for long distances across fields 田, to bring news to families (news depicted with an ear on the right side of the character). she commented that it must have been a tough job for the postman to have to walk such distances since there were no motorcycles or bicycles before. i said, well, the postman are paid, they receive a salary. she says even then it would still be tiring. i said, well, there were no phones, no internet, no emails, so someone has to bring the posts, plus, everyone is free to choose the kind of work they want to do, if the circumstances were such that they had to do laborious work, it must have been a state of being fortunate to have a job (almost like how everyone's saying these days, given that we would count ourselves lucky to still have work).
