POSCA Markers

Bought a bunch of POSCA markers / pens for Kiki as Christmas gift

Now we can mark our bags and books with colourful sketches.

Art & Craft

Her favourite Pastime is to make figurines from plasticines

Inspired from a book she's reading.

NDP2018 Broke AF, LOL

Kiki's so good with plasticines, look at the details, claws included. Haha. Fur, fluffy tail, claws.
I want to get her the professional clay making set but it is so ex... like $300/-
I would sign her up to those miniature clay making classes.

 Back of house

Colin made this unsupervised when I was out.
You can tell that the back and sides of house are neater than the front because he has some practice with the front before reaching the sides & back.  Many of the bricks where laid wrongly, as in wrong directions and also on their flipped sides.... nevertheless, it is still quite cool and I think I must acknowledge that the intention is for him to have fun, not about having a perfectly laid brick house.

 Side of house

 Front of house

I woke up at 11.30am on National Day (!!!) First time in like 7 years, ever so late a morning.
So happy to reclaim the hours.

We headed straight for lunch.
Happy to be eating with both of my 'Babies'.

 A bit too spicy.
We made a pact to eat at Ding Tai Fung the next round, all 3 of us.

You can always trust the youths to speak their truth and be creative about it. LOL.

At least this year's not openly vulgar like last year, that little boy who gave the middle finger.

Iconic Singapore

Hope I've chosen a befitting souvenir for my Manufacturer whom I will be visiting.
This iconic porcelain plate comprises historic representations of our short 53-year-old history.
Comes with a booklet with back-story of the icons.

Fish Bowl

She took the Plasticine Art Craft too seriously, she made a "Fish Bowl" complete with goldfish, pebbles, decorations & clear glue as the water........ so much glue used. *faints*
Always dunno to laugh or cry.

Miniature Donut (Plasticine)

 Miniature Donut (Plasticine)
cute right? compete with glaze and rice sugar

Slime Making

We tried making slimes & fluffy slimes, I had watched over a dozen videos on Youtube and I've tried like... eight times (failed), before I finally, successfully made some slime.
But they were not the fluffy ones, they were plain & slimy.

clear glue

i really hate Colgate with these menthol smell. i prefer Darlie but Kiki doesn't like Darlie.
she had watched too much advertisement on Colgate. brain washed.
I will get Darlie for myself.

sparkle gel

all didn't work.

video on my slime making

Finally, one recipe that worked.
Ingredients: baking soda, hot water, contact lens solutions, clear glue, twirl, swirl, fold & squeeze.
Voila! Slime.

 Yay, slime....

I Love Yoon

So, as we were walking & chatting,

Kiki said to me: "Mommy, I love yoon."

I replied: "Thank you."

She was puzzled. She asked: "Do you know what 'Yoon' means?"

I replied: "Yes"

Kiki: "What?"

I answered: "It means '您' ".

Kiki: "How did you even guessed it!? Yes, I love yoon means 我爱您！"

It's her self-invented word "Yoon" and I guessed it correctly.
No wonder they say Mothers know all.
LOL........
