Karaoke

We rushed over to Katong after violin class last Saturday.
Her feet were sore due to too much walking & blisters.
We ate unhealthy instant noodles that were salty, and drank sugared drinks.
We had lots of fun although I spent quite some time scrolling through the digital consol panel for songs that we might know. She certainly does not know much pop songs but she picks up fairly quickly.

Mostly we sang to the likes of Pink!, Maroon 5- Animals, Payphone, etc. Bruno Mars- Lazy Song (and the other one which I didn't like - Marry You). Because it suggests one night stands.
Many pop songs are made up of irresponsible lyrics. Like - Why you gotta be so cruel-Marry that girl, suggests elope. I am not sure how to filter these if I were to introduce Pop to KiCo. They will learn from their friends & YouTube etc. Better for me to be there. Well, there were some all right songs too, like Jai Ho.

They didn't have newer songs like - 7 years (Lucas Graham), One call away (Charlie Puth), Cake by the ocean (DNCE) etc. Hope the Karaoke place gets more newer English songs soon.

sore feet after too much walking.
no socks because Colin was napping and she didn't want to disturb his nap by entering the bedroom.
(she told me that).
Animals (Maroon 5) she learned it on her own

Eating and dancing

Payphone (no censor)

We had much fun.

Fun Friday - Sept 9th 2016

My sis brought KiCo to the Punggol Safra water playground, look at the queue.
$15 per child for a two-hour session... (one accompanying adult pays $3)
It is all money when you want to have fun like these.

My sis said that Colin couldn't get enough of the water playground. He cried and wanted "Part 2" (to continue after lunch).

Maricar said that the slides made her dizzy, she was afraid initially but eventually enjoyed herself too.

My sis really knows how to build in a surprise for the kids.
She brought them to a Kampong.
It was a shame it rained when they got there, but the kids enjoyed themselves nevertheless.

can you see the blue black bruise mark on her right calf?  Bitten by her brother.

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo.

The school brought the whole P1 level to the zoo today.
We were told to pack a small rucksack with these few items.

June Holiday's Outing

 Colin & friends

As per usual, there were "homework" to be done during and after the excursion.

Nice cold misty air at Cloud Forest.

 African Lilies

 Rat-tail Catus

This is a "young" Olive Tree at Cloud Forest. It is about 1,000 year-old.
The average age of most existing Olive Trees on our planet is about 2,000 year-old.
That's what the fact sheet says.

Mommy, I'm so happy! - says Colin.
Aw... me too, Colin, me too.

Colin went to the "Junior Driving School" (for ages 3 to 6)
Small, oval, driving circuit.

So much fun.

Kiki went to dunno what driving academy, they had the road safety & driving theory lesson in the classroom before hitting the road.
