Honestly, I hardly attend community events. I am not very interested in stuff like that. But now with the kids, I try to have a variety of engagements so that they will have a feel of whatever happening or else they might become uninterested like me.... well anyway, we went to the Marine Parade neighbourhood NDP celebrations last Sunday evening and we were glad we did. There were showcases of performances by the neighbouring schools, TKPS, Tao Nan, Ngee Ann, CHIJ Katong, and senior citizens also. I'm glad it didn't rain.

i wasn't expecting the fireworks to be so near, they were a bash!
