Saturday 26th November 2016

last Saturday, the kids have got no classes in the morning. it's the holidays now.
so we went for breakfast together.

we took Auriga for a spin because we are selling the car to Bren's friend.
his friend wants our car, so it is comforting to know that a good conditioned car has escaped the scrapyard for now, at least, hopefully he gets the whole five years of extended COE life.

when we got home, we were surprised my Aunt visited. she left the kids two plushies.
Squirtle is Kiki's favourite Pokemon, while Pikachu is the main catch for Colin.
we do not play the Pokemon Go App game.
Earlier on, I had only wanted to learn the works of the App., to understand the fuss.
nonetheless, the popularity of the characters still catches on with many young kids, while for older youths, it's a revival.

my Aunt came back from her Hong Kong holiday, which she enjoyed all the food and shopping.

after violin class, we went to QB at Raffles City (basement 2) for a haircut.
the Papa didn't approve of her having her hair coloured with blue highlights, even though i thought it was fine for the holidays and we just need to trim away the colour before school reopens. anyway, i have to stand on the same line as the Papa, so i've comforted her by telling her we'll get temporary colour hilights instead. anyway, i shouldn't have sold her the idea in the first place and gotten her all excited about coloured hair.

 we brought Squirtle along.

the best truffle mash potatoes ever!
we just love this.

Kiki pointed out that our creme brulee didn't come with a mint leaf as shown on menu.
Kids surprise us all the time ya?
