Choo-choo Train

so in the morning, i took $100 from my fun-tank.
i didn't count how much there is, i just took $100 worth of $5 notes.

we woke up late..... so we didn't managed to get the 10am train from Woodlands Train Checkpoint.
actually, we might have made it in time but i didn't want to spend $30 on taxi fare, so we took our time to take the MRT to Kranji MRT Station.

breakfast at Dhoby Ghaut station before hitting the road.
ham & egg pancake.

counting the number of stations from town to Kranji..... long ride, 40 mins!
Zzzzzz.......

Kiki: Look Mama, look at that girl, she's so tall!

Me: (glanced a little) Ya, she's very tall indeed. (about 1.8m)

Kiki: She's just a teenager you know?! (implying the girl could eventually become taller)

Kiki: (ran away from her seat, came back and added) And she's not wearing heels! (This girl fact checks). Thumbs up.

LOL, so busybody this little girl. but it's funny ya, children.

During our long MRT ride, she told me about the huge wastage that we've made (human). She says every year, there are million pairs of shoes that are being thrown away despite them not being spoiled but looking old. She asked me to buy white shoe-paint for her to paint her school shoes as she wants to continue using them. (but those shoes are polyester material, does paint works? anyway, i will check out at BATA).

managed to get bus number 170 all the way to JB.
changed money at the money changer there. good rates @ 3.08

booked our tickets for our journey home.
the main purpose of this "adventure" is really to take the rail train as i've not been on one before.

we ate at an eatery called "Tomato" and Kiki felt cheated when it's sauce was spicy. LOL.

 game arcade time
(does she look like JJ Lin?)

hey! so excited to see "our cats"  there's this app called _ Neko Atsume, where you put food & toys in your virtual yard to lure cats to come and play.

 cheese tarts, very yummy.

so nice and yet i didn't buy.......... so silly right?

 here's our train!

she was worried the train would move off and leave me behind because i was busy taking pictures. she kept saying - come on Mama! come in!

looking at the top shelves, i can't help thinking of the movie-- train to busan

we ate our cheese tart while waiting for the train to move.

the train ride from JB to Singapore took 5 minutes.

Bren bought me a cake and we all were merry.

happy birthday present from Iresh. so thoughtful of her noting my hair woes.
