Weekend & The End Of Average

 my belated Christmas present

At the teacher's place. Windy and peaceful.

Thank you, selfless teacher, for your guidance.
She accepts no fees, she does it for free, for children with reading challenges.
(but she has stopped accepting new students as she has decided to focus on her son)

 Sharing our dinner

waiting for me while I shop
I have implemented a 2-week break for her on her iPhone (started yesterday)
She developed involuntary blinking syndrome.... firstly, it must have been the extended screen time in the past one week school holidays. secondly, my iPhone 5 has a tiny screen. she needs to use an iPad.

I bought a new dress for work.
I'm gonna buy more new dresses, minimally one new dress per month.

10 pm, still wanna cycle.
A Mama's life is ever-giving.

The End of Average. Very good perspectives on what we think is Average, is actually unattainable.
Quit wanting to fit into the general notion of how life should be.
Recognize individualism!

In the 1940s, the US air force faced kind of a crisis; their planes were crashing, pilots were perishing at astonishing rates (on a bad day, 17 planes crashed).  They tried hard to investigate the source of the problem. Not technical errors, not human errors, they were unable to pin-point what were causing the crisis. Until they studied the "standardized cockpit". The cockpit had been made to fit everyone by using average measurements from the entire pool of 6043 pilots. But when they tried to see, really, how many of their pilots could fit perfectly in that standardized cockpit--- they were not expecting the answer to be "Nil". You may think that you're making a "best-fit" when you make average as the focal, but you'll end up fitting no one!   This small realization is truly rather liberating for me. Especially when it comes to "education".
