Phuket- Day 3, Friday June 22nd (our wedding anniversay day)

our motel (Azzurro Village Hotel ) had converted its front porch eatery into a rental space which now sells T-shirts and what-nots. I guess it make sense to make more revenue from rental.

i was there

it's not hard to tell that she wasn't interested in photo taking.

we headed to the shopping district at Jung Ceylon for BK breakfast. i've also bought several dresses from there.

Their signature transportation; the "tuk tuk" (works like taxis)

i tell you, it is so unnerving to hear the constant buzzing sound coming from a multitude of live wires.
when the sky is dark, you can even see blue electrical lightning circling the post. at times like these, you will be thankful you live in singapore. well, at least i do.

the ground floor of this market reminds me of the cuppage market where my parents worked in the 70-80s.

however, the second floor reminds me of the tekka market near little india.

this little girl is glued to her favourite shows even in Thai. she learned the words - Chang (Elephant) and Plaa (Fish).. oh ya, she always brings laughter and delight to the locals there when she counts one to ten in Thai. her Papa taught her that since she was a toddler. in the lift, we randomly count one to ten in Thai, English, Malay (the Papa) Mandarin, Teochew, Japanese (the Mama) Tagalog, Spanish (Maricar), so she knows all except Japanese cos i didn't do that often.
