"Touch"

My cousin Loo Sin bought Kiki this neck rest last year. I was so glad I've found an identical replacement.

It became the sleep inducer because Kiki has a habit of touching some latex, rubbery printed surface fabric before falling asleep. Some babies need to sniff on their smelly bolsters, some babies need to fiddle on the corners of a pillow, Kiki needs to touch the rubbery surface of some cuddly stuff.

In our house, there are some self-made words and some words with self-made meanings.

For instance, she would go to her room and ask - "Maricar, can I have my "touch""? (touchy pillow)

And once, when I had a mosquito bite, she told me - "Don't worry, I will give you tongue-medicine" (saliva to stop the itch).
