Walk for Rice - Founders' Day Event

 as we were there early, we just helped scribble some messages for decoration

I had nothing meaningful to write......

The school donates two bowls of rice (one bowl white, one bowl brown rice) to the underprivileged families for every 200 meters covered by each participant. That's a lot of rice for the 1 or 2? km walk involving 1,500 students and additional participants like parents & teachers. As I was on leave that day, I volunteered as road marshal for one of the 18 check points.
