This morning I had that "jump out from my skin" feeling when I looked at the clock on my mobile phone. It shows 6.28am. Gosh. 6.28am would be the time to close the door behind us, press the button for the lift, walk to the bus stop to catch the 6.40am bus. So it was a reflex to jump out of my skin. Hurriedly did everything in lightning speed and managed to get to school on time. Well yeah, even get to work on time (after sprinting for the bus).
Well, still had a second to take this picture at Raffles Place MRT station. A cut-out display board on Zootopia. You could sit gently on the blue seats for a pose if you'd like.
On way to work. Totally didn't know that the Eclipse had just past. No wonder there were a row of photographers lining up at the Clifford Pier area! Where have I been?!
As if to mock me, I came across this article.
9 Habits of People Who Are Always On Time
- When it's time to get up, GET UP! ( no snooze)
- Plan Breakfast at Dinner. (rather, plan Breakfast in the evening when on journey home. get whatever I need to get from the confectionery)
- End tasks on time. (End work on time)
- They recognise patterns, and correct time. (Tweak whatever and get it to work)
- They embrace downtime. (Be with yourself when it's time for yourself)
- They're immune to "Just one more thing" syndrome. (They rarely squeeze "one last thing" into their schedules. They've mostly got it all panned out.)
- They schedule built-in overflow time. (There are always large gaps in their calendar to accommodate unexpected errands or events)
- They've mastered the skill of calculation. (They even calculate "elevator time")
- They know when they do their best work. (Be aware of your energy cycles)
