So we had the Labour Day holiday on Monday.
That's when I do
spring cleaning of the kitchen (dust as thick as carpet at the corners).
Feels good to have a good cleanse. Even wiped the walls.
Followed by steam ironing my clothes. Got to be very cautious using steam iron. Few times scalded my fingers and back of palms. At the rate I was going, my thumb prints might fade off faster than normal.... using steam iron is good exercise for the inner-thighs cos squatted up and down a dozen x dozen times especially steaming the edges of shirts & dresses. Thighs still aching after two days!
So since I was gonna iron for two hours, I casually watched Dirty Grandpa. Cos these kinds of movies need no concentration.
So the movie is about a young lawyer chap (Zac Efron) with a bright future, about to marry his boss' daughter (uptight, overbearing, controlling, bossy). Young chap spends the weekend with his recently widowed Grandpa (Robert De Niro), who was raring to go since his late wife of 40 years granted him permission to live another phase of his life in whichever ways he fancies, and he fancies girls as young as his grandson. So young chap met an acquaintance whom he had earlier met at a photography course. Obviously got chemistry but he was already engaged to the bossy GF so Grandpa jeopardized Grandson's wedding so Grandson could go after the nice, sweet gal. That's about all. Plot feels so... 90s.
