Joyful Strings

 we rushed over to Esplanade after our swimming class,. to watch "Joyful Strings" performance.

 in time for the second set at 6pm but we couldn't get a seat by then.
(actually, it is the same set, played at three time slots; 5pm, 6pm, 7pm)

we stayed back to watch the third set at 7pm and we've thoroughly enjoyed the programme.
the youths were very good. how inspiring.

the youths paid tribute to the likes of - Jackson Five (Michael Jackson) ABC, I'll be there.  Local band-- The Quest (one of my dad's favourite band), Beatles (Hey Jude, Yesterday, I wanna hold your hand, Let it be) The Supremes (Diana Ross).

it was a fine evening and we gave ourselves a treat to some fine smelling pasta.

 there were some guys doing stunts at the holding area at the MRT station.
they removed the lid of the trash bin and made an obstacle of it.
for fun, we both jumped over the low hurdle.

i was telling Kiki, i said- "I think I should dress you in dresses, look at all the girls (at the concert), they're all dressed prettily"  (while we were always rugged). Kiki reply "Just put powder lar"
oh, she meant okay but i need to put body powder for her because dresses are sticky and uncomfortable.

i said first and foremost...... i have to wean off slippers!
