We rushed over to Katong after violin class last Saturday.
Her feet were sore due to too much walking & blisters.
We ate unhealthy instant noodles that were salty, and drank sugared drinks.
We had lots of fun although I spent quite some time scrolling through the digital consol panel for songs that we might know. She certainly does not know much pop songs but she picks up fairly quickly.
Mostly we sang to the likes of Pink!, Maroon 5- Animals, Payphone, etc. Bruno Mars- Lazy Song (and the other one which I didn't like - Marry You). Because it suggests one night stands.
Many pop songs are made up of irresponsible lyrics. Like - Why you gotta be so cruel-Marry that girl, suggests elope. I am not sure how to filter these if I were to introduce Pop to KiCo. They will learn from their friends & YouTube etc. Better for me to be there. Well, there were some all right songs too, like Jai Ho.
They didn't have newer songs like - 7 years (Lucas Graham), One call away (Charlie Puth), Cake by the ocean (DNCE) etc. Hope the Karaoke place gets more newer English songs soon.
