Day 2: Breakfast
There was a push cart stall selling Kuay Teow Soup. It was 6.30am and they were already in business. I couldn't sleep deeply, I keep waking up at 4am, 5am, 6am and my mind is wide awake.
It has been a few weeks now, and I have began to skip afternoon coffee altogether.
We had toast and coffee too.
From the start, we walked, we walked and we walked some more.
Wrought iron art works are at every other corner.
we were taking pictures of this character-filled wall with a door that looks like it will lead to a dungeon, when a lady on bicycle stopped in front of us. we gestured for her to pass, but she gestured back for us to move. oh! it's her house! LOL. we were laughing to ourselves while she just ignored us. she must be used to nosy visitors by now.
Map studying.
Folding gates.
Themed wrought iron designs, diamonds for a jewellery shop.
oh, this Kim Hause was on our Airbnb shortlist but we didn't choose it because my aunt didn't want communal amenities (like communal bathroom etc).
