Full uniform gears for the Orientation.
Parents are being briefed at the school hall while the kids proceed to their respective classes.
The school appears to be well organised, systematic and seems quite "open minded" (in terms of feedback channels- Email addresses of teachers given to parents, PSG Whatsapp etc. which I have not joined yet). Parents will be allowed to observe their P1 child on the first day of school (during recess time), after which, Parents are not allowed to loiter inside school compound unless they are carrying out duties from the Parents Support Group (PSG). I hope the good vibes we have with the school will remain, it surely will help with the years ahead.
She's among the tallest (and biggest size) student and her assigned seat is right at the back, the last table at the left corner (not in this picture), I hope the teacher moves around in class while teaching.... cos normally it's the students in the front who pay more attention. Hope all my old, negative presuppositions are wrong because times have changed how things work.
showing me the change she's gotten after getting a drink (80 cents).
I've told her no soft drinks or flavoured drinks from Monday to Thursday.
Over a month or so, she can either spend the money she would have saved on drinks on something she likes or put the money into her bank.
$2.70 for a plate of Kuay Teow Mee with two side dishes (Popcorn Chicken & Fish paste fillet)
80 cents for a drink. Total $3.50, I think that's quite a lot of money for a school canteen.
I'm just gonna give her $3 or $4 a day and give her a piggy bank.
First time using the payphone. Taught her where to slot the coins, she has memorised the Papa's number and mine. She should memorize the house phone number also.
After that, we went for our Lady M fix.
and then goofed around at Tokyu Hands, make-up counter and others.
Polka dots for Kiki, coloured one for me, B&W for my sis cos she likes monochrome
