My colleague's relatives from Shanghai brought her home-grown peanuts.
I was surprised that peanuts seem garden-friendly and I wonder if we would be able to successfully plant lots of 花生 so I don't have to buy them from the stores anymore. However, I am rather particular about 花生... I only like those with a unique fragrance (which I lack the vocab to describe....)
Anyway, 花生发芽了!
