Rephrase your way to success

I rephrase almost every, little, thing in my head before I speak or write my emails.
Only thing I had been too quick to scold the kids, sometimes with vulgar words. And that's terrible.
If there could be replacement words for the frequently used vulgar words, that'd work for me.
