Waiting for my book

Well, not 'mine' exactly, it's from our NLB.  Hasn't arrived as I've understood this book had just been published last month. But its reservation has already started and I'm second in line....

This lady-- Min Kym, is a child prodigy. She had her violin stolen right under her nose at a cafe  in London when she was in transit and was taking a snack & coffee break. Normally, she has the straps of the violin case strapped around one of her legs while she sat down and ate, but on that fateful day, her then boyfriend, persuaded her to eat at ease and she handed him the violin case which they had placed it near their seats. The thing is, that violin cost $1.2million in British pound. Plus, the case contained two other bows, one cost $32K (GBP) and another 'cheap' bow at $5K (GBP).
Of course Kym broke into a panic fit when she discovered the violin was missing. An island-wide hunt and investigation pursued for weeks and months but nothing reliable turned up despite a reward for information. Heavy criticism were laden upon Kym, mainly criticizing her carelessness. It was a terrible time for Kym and she fell into depression.

Fast forward 3 years on, the acclaimed violin was found.

However, having gone through the crisis and saga, Kym no longer feels the same for the violin nor her music.

She shares with us in her book, her journey from having lost her violin and how her life fell apart and fall back together again. She says she owes it to herself to speak up and to give her account of the saga as there had been too many avenues voicing their authorities over the incident and everyone has something to comment about her life.

And so, I wait.
