This week, the teacher imparted various exercises on Gavotte, and there was no time for any student to present their Minuet 1s, 2s & 3s. So we also didn't play Minuet 3 in class either, although I would have preferred to get it over-and-done-with soon so that we really start on Gavotte, concurrently Happy Farmer.
As the teacher was showing us how to pluck the strings (for two of the notes on Gavotte), she side-tracked and demonstrated the various sound effects when plucked nearer to the bridge, or in the middle (sounds like the harp), and even strumming it like a guitar. Sometimes she makes the children laugh with her exaggerated antics and I would always soak up these rare moments. She went on and plucked a segment of a Japanese oldie which was awesome.

After class, it's makan time.
(Orchard road is closed every first Saturday of the month, so we moved to Cityhall).
As usual, she would snake in and out the rows of clothes, keeping herself amused while I browse around. This time, only to discover her hair standing at its ends. Statics in the works from woolen clothes.
Then we went to get a present for my sis' BD
and another one for my Godma's BD also.
While at the department store, inevitably, she wanted a toy dog. She says she knows we can't have a real dog (yet) and asked if she can have another toy dog (for now).
She says the poodle's name is - 许星, Timmy.
Fancy lor. Lol.
But 许星 is maggot-infected......!
No lah! I didn't inspect before buying, she has a tear at the leg-joint....
许星 is all fixed
Present for my sis
When we got home, she doodled a 'BD card' on its paper bag.
That's my sis seated at a high back-rest bench with her BD cake; me and Kiki (with present in a paper bag (got handles)), and an excited Pepper- my sis' dog.
Continued on next side- Colin, Maricar, the Papa, and Uncle Ken (with a door behind him).
Uncle Ken has a fanciful hair style.
