Reading, April week 3

M-m-m-m, I see cookies. (association with that slice of cake)
But Kiki says, M-m-m-m, I see meatballs. (associates brown, round balls as meatballs)
Although I've attempted to convince her, she still thinks those are meatballs. Who is to say it's wrong, so I remain open. 

 She says its a broom, I've explained it's a mop; and she's agreeable.

No clue with these lines that don't rhyme. Last one being - I see the figurine?/ Toy?
(she says- I see the man..... )

 She says - I see the time.
(but I said I see the clock..... oh,,, now as I type, I think I see the time is more appropriate.)
You look at the clock to see time isn't it?
