Hong Kong Day 2 - Street Sighting
We are not food hunters, we eat at random places as long as they are not crowded.
Bren & I woke up so early, so we popped into the big M and got a meal for the premium toy for Kico.
They served Chicken Macaroni breakfast but we didn't try because I would prefer hotcakes anytime =)
Flowers bloom in the cold air.
Finally, the drizzle stopped, the weather was wonderful. About 20 deg in cool air with sunny skies. I wished for the same weather for Day 3, alas the sun couldn't prevail. Nevertheless, on Day 2, we left Tsim Sha Tsui station for Mong Kok; to explore the street scenes and eat a little.
(free distribution of newspaper publications commonly in the morning)
Taking the MTR to Mong Kok.
I hardly see these bamboo scaffolding any more. Back to basics isn't it.
We discovered a "chok", porridge place and was very pleased with the Chicken congee; it's taste is so rich, we all agreed that it was very good indeed. (having compared with the Pork congee).
I was happy the kids ate some food, given that they didn't eat much the night before (they shared just half a fish burger and some french fires the night before).
After breakfast, it was walking and more walking for street sighting.
