Mounted the curb but after a while, she got the hang of it pretty well. I went: "STEP ON THE PEDAL, THE PURPLE PEDAL. HARDER, STEP ON IT HARDER"
"LOOK STRAIGHT! KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL. TWO HANDS! TURN LEFT, STEP HARDER, TURN RIGHT."
(Give clear, specific instructions. That's what I thought would work best. And so, I think I may come across like a platoon commander just now. Ha Ha not funny but it works, she did well. My sis and I were satisfied that she passed our standards the first time. Ya, we pretty much will expose her to whatever sporty stuff we like. You know, my sis could cycle on two wheels when she was just four. Ya, it was a BMX, and yes, I guided her but it was her guts.)
