Kept pulling off her socks. I relented after numerous tries to replace them. (I forgot to use the "socks-on" socks guard......must make a point to bring it next time).
She looks nice in purple. This top was given by June *if I remember correctly. Cos we've taken quite a bit of hand-me-downs and sometimes I forget who gave what.
Bren & I always have a year end retreat two of the days before the end of the year. This has been our tradition since 2ooo and so we try to keep it. For those of you who are new to us,,, this retreat is to review how we've fared during the year (yes, we do exchange grade for each other and this year,,, I fared 7.5 and he did 7 out of 10) and also to set some directions for the year ahead. We also write down our limiting beliefs on paper and burn them as a gesture to release what's not useful. example, this year, I wrote: "Let go of fussiness, Let go of guilt (of having fun)" etc. Our goals revolve around eight areas (just draw a pie chart) - mind, body, personal development, family, relations, career, finance and society. These will include stuff like charity, reading, mending relationships, personal interests, etc, etc. This programme is very useful for people like us who used to procrastinate a lot. It helps us walk our talks. If not for this programme, we may never have gotten married. (oh, wow.....) Ya, really, cos we used to think that we live forever in a time warp.
So anyway,,, this year, we decided to do it leisurely and also to bring our new helper to see the lights at Orchard as she has heard it was beautiful. My mom joined us on one of the nights and sis also popped by and we had dinner. It was a nice, casual time.
So anyway,,,, Happy New Year, guys. It's a new decade!
