Coincidentally, Children's Day is on 9th October and I had booked the hotel over 8th & 9th (Thursday & Friday). I thought Children's Day is the first Friday of October but well., in our ever-pro-educational and practical society, we work before we play. Anyway, I had packed one set of Math worksheets, but we didn't get round to doing it because all the time we had were spent on having fun.
There is an extra, roll-out bed.
Glad we had the pool view =)
There's this man-made beach that integrates with the swimming pool, although the sand is synthetic, it is not too bad, it still gives you the tactile feel of real sand (minus the finest dust). And it does feel nice to swim in a pool, yet stepping on a thick, floor board of sand.
We had a fine time swimming there and it was especially nice to swim along Kiki.
I look forward to Colin beefing up and to develop stronger physique so that we can start him with swim class too. Can't wait to swim alongside both of them.
The last time KiCo were at Hard Rock was when SJ had a room there. Was over three years ago when Colin hasn't learned to walk and Kiki was still carry-able.
Pretending to be a Puppy as she swam "Dog Style" and played Fetch.
Finally brought her swim wear (out of the numerous times).
Vegs & Pumpkin
Next morning, we went to Port of Lost Wonders. It was Children's Day, hence it was crowded towards noon, it was fun. We were there from 10am till...... 2pm. After that we headed back to the hotel to nap, and went to the hotel pool in the evening. KiCo had a great time at the trampoline. They both are quite a thrill lover. (like their dad and also like my sis).
We left the hotel early and headed straight to classes.
