Again, I watched this movie. Good thing didn't cry. LOL. 

This movie is a modern twist of Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), if you are lucky enough to get a second chance in life, remember, -- "Family first".  I mean, don't wait till you get a second chance. Life passes by quicker if you're on auto pilot mode, before you know it, we might be saying goodbye...... if we had neglected our loved ones, we might regret not having spent the time. So....... just do our best 吧。

 saying sorry to his wifie....... what happened to "forever"?

 when the daughter was a young girl, he promised that he will live till 200. (to indicate assurance that he will "always be there"). but of course that is just to coax a little girl. the thing is, at the end of the day, he wasn't there, he had not been there. he had been an absent Dad throughout her life despite loving her so much. so that was his regret.

his newly married son was planning on cancelling the honeymoon over work commitments, with his last breaths he struggled and ran after his son to tell him - 'Family first', as he was afraid his son might end up like him, missing out in what's important. i know, it's dramatic.
