We went to the Poly Clinic last Friday as Kiki had cough.The doctor prescribed a cough mixture but the pharmacist refused to dispense it because she said it was meant for age 2 years and above. Eventually, the doctor canceled the prescription.
Since then, Kiki's cough is more severe during night (after milk) and she vomited twice.
She's fine and still as playful, I hope her cough will go away soon.

Hmm hmm who is the doctor? Isn't it a case of negligence?
ReplyDeleteNo, the doc felt that she is just one month shy of being 2, so, it should be alright to use the medicine. But the pharmacist disagrees. Two pharmacists at the counter discussed and both pressured the doc to cancel the prescription.
ReplyDeleteI argued with the pharmacist-- then what? no medicine? But they won't barge.
we ended up with some medication meant for running nose.
