(Above) You are actually looking at mirrors on the floor. It looks as though you're looking down into a room but it is really the floor. All the items you see - the table, lamps, cushion, books, TV are all installed upside down in the room. The mirrors reflect whatever that are in the room, hence the "depth" effect. It is scary in the sense-- it's like you're hovering on the ceiling of the room.
