Argh!

In my dreams, I was trying to grab Kiki who was misbehaving and was driving me very mad.
I kept trying to catch her but she kept slipping out of my reach.
I was so frustrated I wanted to wring my hands on her arms and to discipline her.
Ai yo............ so stressful? I must be crazy. Didn't sleep after 4.38

This might just be a manifestation of suppressed frustration taken in the form of venting it out on Kiki in my dreams. So that's not nice.

However, IRL, I do am frustrated with her when she is in one of her relentless streaks teasing or taunting her younger brother. Sometimes she gets too engrossed in delivering a fact while not giving the consideration that her brother sometimes needs more time to digest, adapt and accept new things instead of crudely pushing the facts in his face. Eg: Sunday was Colin's first swim lesson. He was a little hesitant and was in denial (saying that it was not his swim class day). Kiki was insistent in telling him it was his swim class day, more like yelling him the information. I was very mad at her because in addition for me to clear away the pressure she dumped on him, I am trying to covey and encourage him to attend the session. Kiki has to learn that more important than being right, is to be kind.

One Woof Away

Using IG story app to sketch at random

Weekends

All the Spellings begin.... The Chinese ones are really challenging.

 McDonald's before class

 We shared dinner for one

Note: No more Raspberry for her, the next day her tummy and face had red allergy rashes.

 Sunday morning
Real-time steamed & handmade Chee Chong Fun

First swim class. Even though it was the afternoon, he was trembling with coldness. Involuntary trembles.

After swim class, we waited for Kiki to finish her violin tuition class.
My sis and Colin made acquaintance with Russel (white) & Fergie (black).

Friday night and I was trying not to fall asleep.

Gingerbread Man died and his Dough came out.

I forgot how it felt to have a friend..... until now.
We've got a new (music) friend.

Fridays

Probably the last installment of Pitch Perfect, so I thought I'd watch it since I've enjoyed the previous two installments. The third one is okay, not too bad. Funny.

GGGB: Good Girl Gone Bad

Rather tired of being "good", but I can never be "bad" even if I've tried.

Colin's class registration is #30. He will get to do everything last; in terms of order of tests, order of exams, and what other line-ups assignments I am not sure of. One fellow Daddy suggested that I use Colin's first name in class registration instead of his last name. He said with letter "C", Colin would then be among the first few students instead of being the last. I thought -- But someone else will become last, right?  Anyway, I don't wanna be so Kiasu until so senseless. A push-over will only be vocal with important stuff.

Colin's premolar is hanging on a thread, but he is too scared to remove it or have it removed. It hasn't come off despite the dentist saying that it would probably just fall off anytime. The dentist had wanted to remove it but upon seeing Colin being so tensed, changed his mind. He says it's better not to create bad experiences especially at the dentists. The extraction would have cost $115 but the dentist thought it would be better not to proceed. So the consultation was $30 but with our Chas card (blue), the subsidised price was $9.90. We should really make use of the Chas card as the card is only valid for two years, by then if our income improve we won't be given the card although I feel that dental treatment have become exorbitant.

With the Chas card, we should get my scaling and polishing done often. Yay!

(1)
I want a better version of Fitbit. I like my Fitbit Flex2 but I want more analysis, especially on my heartbeat. The Flex2 doesn't have that.

(2)
I do not need the iPhone X but I think I might need to change my phone soon because last night, to my horror, my phone went mute. Videos could play but there is a buzzing eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound and nothing else. All videos were like that. I rebooted it and it was still like that. Ended up updating the iOS and praying that my phone will work fine. Can you imagine praying for your phone? Crazy. I do need an iPhone though not necessary the tenth edition. But that will have to wait because I have to first (1) fix the toilet, (2) fix the air-con, (3) standby that the fridge might be the next to die, let's be realistic, everything dies except God's Love. I can't believe I've said that but ya.

(3)
Oh ya, I want the Benefit eyebrow pen. That's like $42.

(4)
Renew Colin's passport. That's like $60 is it?  Can't remember.
(checked: it is $70 now)

(5)
Oh ya, got to get air tickets for Maricar to go home.

(6)
The regular stuff are Violin lessons (times 3), Piano (times 2), Chinese (times 2), Swimming (times 1)
Gearing for Kiki to complete Grade 5 by September and she will take a break from piano until she earns her own money to further herself.

弟弟上学了!Colin goes to school

 弟弟上学了!Colin goes to school

First day of school, Colin asked why is he waking up "at night". LOL. It was still dark, at 6am.
He said one of his classmates was crying in class. I asked if he comforted him. He said no, because many other students were surrounding the boy.

First day of school, came home without the colour pencil set.
Hum..... left it in class?

Exciting new adventure for this little boy.

Happy New Year!

原来老天是要我很帅气地放手。
那就放了也算了吧!
Taking cue from HK Drama series, haha.
It is always better to be the bigger person, especially when facing a hapless person, we must find it within ourselves to let it pass.

Movies with KiCo
Waaa, so expensive tickets $12 (discounted) X 3 = $36

Colin read Yong Huat as Yogurt Honey, I don't know to laugh or to cry.

Three of us shared one portion, cos we're not really hungry despite it's dinner.

Conjured this short poem just before I fell asleep after midnight, it's a New Year Poem for my friends. The next day, I sent it to a few people.

Genki shushi with KiCo and my sis.
Colin enjoyed the conveyor trains and race cars that served up our dishes.

2nd January, chill with Brendan.
