Exciting Times Ahead

So so busy =/

My colleague is down with a stroke and will be out of action until April.
I am covering his work and have been so, very, busy..........................
And my own work is at the back burner.

 Nevertheless, I still have the heart to pass on our pre-loved toys and books to a new boy.

In order not to over-strain by carrying heavy loads, I bring a few items at a time, every day.

 Those people are still sending letters.
Which we return to the Post Office.

After movies, we didn't have a break, we continued with our Theory Lessons at the music centre.

I have been very swamped with work the past week because my colleague is down with a stroke.
He is only 42 but it happens.
So, besides my own work, I am covering his.
Been so busy and my piles had been acting up.... bleeding for 5 days straight.
Finally went to Polyclinic to see Doc and to get an appointment to see the Specialists at the hospital.
Fastest appointment will be in April.
So meanwhile, taking medicine (blood thinning)

 Kiki & Colin tried the Chocolate Pie along with Vanilla ice cream.

 Was a little spicy.... but it was very nice.
I ate just a little because I am abstaining from spicy & deep fried food.

 I have a serious case of Frozen shoulders and shoulder blades....
Apparently, the poor circulation led to me being unable to fold my arms to the back.......
Very painful. I must really take care of my body.

 A T-shirt that fits 7 months to 7 year-old. Haha.

Yole is so good (tasting).

Mid week

 Met up with my uncle.
He has some training talks he asked me to go and listen.

Last night's Dinner at Mos burger/ Cafe.

Live and Let Live

There was a Mandarin Enrichment Centre that had a PR campaign over the weekend at selected McDonald's outlets. Kids under 12 could get a free Happy Meal when they order the meal in Mandarin. LOL....... all the kids were just repeating the script but still, they get the free meal.

Boarded this Taxi and told the Uncle that our destination is- Toh Heights.

Uncle kept shouting at me (I think he has hearing impairment) - Where? Where you wanna go?

I repeated the address and he exclaimed -- You don't know how to get there arh?

I was very mad. I replied that no, I do not know the route there, that is why I hail a cab.

Can I ask him the same question?  Whether he knows the way there since he is a licensed taxi driver.

He continued to accuse me of not knowing the route. Which I continued to reply that he is right, I do not know the route. 

Finally, he asked me to get off his taxi and I opened the door before his cab came to a halt. (dangerous move but I was angry).

After I'd alighted with Kiki, I was fuming mad while walking back to the taxi stand but I told myself to cool it off. Because nothing is worth being upset over an obviously senile or getting senile man. His cab made a U-turn and returned to the taxi stand where he picked up another passenger going to a destination he knows of.

I took a photo thinking to write a feedback but if I do that, it will affect his livelihood.

So I suppose, live and let live ya.

New Grading System

The school invited Parents to attend a Briefing on the new Banding System since the MOE is doing away with the PSLE T-score where students' results are being lined up against each other.

Now, the results will be from each student and will reflect how well they fare.
Also, students who feels over-burdened could opt to take the exams at "Foundation Level" (instead of Standard Level). However, the details of the differential in grades are not ready to be informed. We were told the details will be released by end of the year.

Went dinner at Marina Bay Sands area.
I like the place for all its luxury stores, fancy things I get to see. Although I don't get to spend on the luxury products, I still like to hangout there, to eat and window shop.

Kiki bought this giant Squishy Creeper from the toybox shop. 

The kids have their Ang Bow money to use at their discretion, it is up to them to stretch the dollar.
