Colin's First Birthday.
The word "Hooray!" is missing an exclamation mark and should be on another line.
Looks like a handsome version of Kiki
Can you see where his right index finger is? He is cheeky boy. He always presses the teat down, giving us the challenge of popping the teat back. He finds it amusing and double amusing when he thinks he got away.

Colin
Colin is so darn adorable. He's like a little puppy, he bites everything with his teeth and crawls around like a pup. Then, he removes his "treat" and offers it to me (pushes it to my lips and grins). It's like saying: "Nah, here you are, have one, it tastes good!" This is his way of sharing.
Oh, we're having his first birthday party this weekend. =)
Tea
T.G.I Fridays (this brownie is too sweet even for me).
Strawberry Yogurt on cone.
After music, we normally go for tea. This gives us a short but pleasant time to bond.
I read that we must not use "food" as a reward to get the kid behave or do some tasks, but I found myself telling her "pay attention, later we'll have ice cream".
I think I must not do that ya?
Bren and I enjoy this Vietnam coffee, very thick and fragrant, reminds me of Phuket.
(the fudge cake is a miss)

Kiki's Sketches
This is Kiki's depiction of me, a very happy me.
This (on right), is of me (left) and Brendan (right). She talked to herself while sketching-- "...and two lovely eyes, (dot, dot), smile, eating apple (I don't know why she terms the cheeks as "eating apple". maybe it's like munching an apple), legs..... and a pair of jogging shoes!"
Finally, she included herself and Didi Colin (in the pram), can you see a short smiley in a balloon on top right?
That's Colin in the pram. Ha ha. and Maricar pushing the pram. Not bad huh?
And these are her Papi and Moma in a slightly hipper style. Ha ha.
together with KiCo.
(she now calls her father - "Papi" and me "Moma")
We were actually at her music class. There are pockets of free time while the teacher runs through worksheets with each kid, some kids would be running around during these pockets of time. Kiki prefers to doodle. Although she has been drawing nothing but smileys all these weeks, I am beginning to appreciate her smileys. I think they're so cool! Well, I guess every parent are proud of their kids, like my aunt always tease me, every kid in his parents' eyes is adorable.

At This Moment
In case I meet a premature death, let it be known that I've lived a full life and that I am contented and have been blessed. Suddenly, I feel that it is important to let you know that although I had a fair share of trying moments, I am, in this instance, a happy person. Last night while I observed Rachael, she seemed to be growing more and more in resemblance to me, and that is a tad scary. Because I wasn't a happy child and that image of myself in youth for a nano second scared me. But of course that was a shadow of the past and I've always maintained that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Of course there are things on hindsight that I feel I could have done better or made a different choice but it is always clearer looking back so I wish I've gained the insights to look into the future with clarity too. Life with children is still new to me and I have this very sage feeling. Anyhow, I hope that my days ahead are filled with laughters and I look forward to personal growth in the next phase of my life. Today is Friday; my favorite day of the week and here's wishing you all a happy weekend.

5th August 2012- Baby Adele
Kiki especially was drawn to Caleb. (I wonder why). She went up to Caleb and stroked his legs affectionately. She also sang a birthday song for baby Adele. I'm glad Kiki has a sweeter nature than me.
