Hong Jing's Birthday

Hong Jing is 6 years old, very chatty and none of the adults was energetic enough to want to play with her last night. There weren't other kids around to play with, so she bugged her guests to play. It was more of an adult's gathering although we were all there to celebrate her birthday, Ha2.

Jonas' First Birthday

We attended my colleague; HZ's son (Jonas') birthday at East Coast.

22nd June 2012

今天是双鹅节,the day of two swans. 22 不就是一对天鹅咯! 哈哈。today's our wedding anniversary. I took a day off from work to bask in the glory of a free day. Spent the morning alone at the beach, ran some errands and went browsing with my sis. Ended up buying a bag that looked exceptionally nice on me, and a pair of shoes that also looked suiting to my size five feet. Totally unplanned but sweet. Had dinner at Jap Yakitiro restaurant with sis. (picture above) Met Shijie briefly. Now I'm on my way to rejoice the day with Bren at the regular pub. Peace out.

School's Outing - June 2012

 Teacher said: "Children, hands behind your back!"  (No touching of fish or fish tanks)

 At the pond.

 I caught five fishes, some caught none. I am quite sure it was due to two factors: 1, I had submerged my entire hand into the water to scoop the fish. (most people didn't want to dirty their hands)  2, I was wearing a pair of polarized-shades. (it filters glare)

In the end, we returned the fishes back to the pond. the farm gave every kid a few fishes instead of letting us bring home the ones from the pond.

If you could ever had the time and the chance to accompany your kid to any of the school's outing, I urge you to go. It is bonding. Until such time when they are grown up, they might not want you to tag along, so treasure the time when they desire you.

Weekend- Sunday 10th June 2012

 She wanted a pink race car and I've told her it is rare to find a pink one, perhaps she would like to settle for a common colour like red or yellow but it turned out there was a pink car! Although it was not in a race car design, she was still pleased. I wanna wean her off pink, I don't like these pink, sweety-girl nor princess-y kind of business, too much of commercial rubbish. 

 Have milk, will travel.

 I lost my FIL when he barged out of the house to get himself a packet of cigarette. After five hours of searching, I decided to calm myself, rest my feet, and meditate. 5 minutes into meditation (at a bench at the void deck), my phone rang. It was the police! He went to the police post and told them he was lost. Luckily I've left my number at the police post earlier, thinking some good samaritan may bring him there.
We really have to watch over him closely and never to let him out on his own again. Lesson learned!

Weekend- Saturday 9th June 2012

 We brought Ronald-kitty out to the airport. I am just so tickled by this cat dressed in Ronald's suit.

Although there's a Swenden's at Parkway, the outlet at the airport is more spacious and its ambience also more relaxed. We enjoyed an early dinner, mine was nothing but wafer ice cream.

Colin

Colin is very adventurous, he climbs over everything and props himself up with tables, chairs and benches.

Young People

 Don't you just love young people?
They didn't invent the game but they non-fictionalized it, minus the flying brooms.

Weekend

 Can't imagine me, the queue hater had queued an hour for this.
Maybe being a mommy made me bend over backwards in many aspects, for my children at least. 

Lunch with Company

 My friends at work brought me to this small, cozy eatery snugged away at Ayer Rajah market area.
We enjoyed the place and presentation of the dishes, we might just visit there once in a while from now.
