Recent Foodie

We've lived in Marine Parade for over two years but we've not explored all the nice eateries here. So we've decided to just have excursions out to eat and also for a break from household chores. Most of the time, we will pop in to the various pubs for a drink and a game of pool (which will take quite a long time as we are not good pool players) Ha ha.

Yesterday, we went to this beer garden place called - Mel's Place. (no.2A Kuo Chuan Avenue, tel 64403573)
Just a dash of Macallan 12 years along with my favourite dish- Lamb Chop. (I'm hungry while writing this!)

Bren had Dory Fillet.

That place has 1-for-1 drinks from 4pm till 6pm.

I like these Bean Curd "buns". Tau Kwa Pau they're called.

The stall is apparently famous for these. Pleaes eat while they're hot. If cooled, they don't taste as well. Location: Coffeeshop opposite Katong Mall.
